Mission: Impossible Fallout Movie Review

Mission: Impossible Fallout Movie Review

Mission: Impossible is a 22 years old action film series which is probably the rare franchises that is known to deliver huge blockbuster after blockbuster worldwide; and each one better than before. Continuing the same legacy, the latest release and the sixth installment in the series is the Mission:

Impossible – fallout. The cast includes Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan, and Alec Baldwin all of whom carry on their characters from the previous films. The film also has Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby joining the franchise this time. Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt gives us the best of his work so far in the series. Unlike most of its previous parts, this movie is a direct sequel to Rogue Nation.

It is packed with intense action scenes and mere watching it onscreen gives adrenaline rush to the viewers. Some of the most raved about scenes of the movie are performed by Tom Cruise himself with no help of body doubles or green screen. The 56 year old superstar performs insane halo jump, hangs from helicopter and does high speed motorbike chase on Paris streets like it’s no big deal!

The narrative essentially revolves around homicidal terrorists who have got hold of plutonium. These terrorists want to cause disaster and chaos in the world as they believe they are serving a greater purpose than what humanity will ever understand. But as always Ethan Hunt gets in the way of bad guys and with the help of his brilliant team, saves the day.

The climax is set in Kashmir and is as jaw dropping as it gets. McQuarrie successfully creates gripping visuals with snow covered mountain peaks, helicopters and ticking bombs. Screenplay is written skillfully to alternate the emotions with action and leaves the audience craving to see more.
